I am continuing genealogical research on my family and I I looked at the oldest surname on our tree its a Foshee from I believe 1819. I recently found this county Escambia and was suprised to see a town with that surname as all of my father's family hail from southern Alabama; Maxwells, Mcmillans, Baskins, and Foshees.

However the towns I am not too aware of other than the Wallaces of Burntcorn.

Does anyone have any information on the founder and the people, I would be very grateful.
