Thank you for your reply. I'm not sure if I will be of any help to you as I have been unable to make a definate connection to the Croft line and Alabama. I do however think it's kind of neat that my grandfather Roy Jonathon Croft had a brother named John Lowery Croft, thus two of the names in your query.
