On Saturday, April 26, 2008 the Annual Findley Family Reunion will be held at the BLAKE COMMUNITY CENTER beginning at 12 o'cock noon. This year we are honored to have several newly found, through dna testing, FINLEY cousins joining us from South Carolina, Florida and Georgia. All our friends and cousins are invited to join us for this family celebration.

Beginning at 10 o'clock AM at Beulah Church Cemetery near Fyffe, there will be a Dedication Ceremony for Frances Jane Sizemore Bailey Fraser, Twin Daughters of Samuel C. & Rhoda A. (Frasier) Pointer,and Gemima Malissa Brown Pointer which have new markers placed on the graves to replace the sandstone rocks with no names.

The Confederate State Army Marker will be for Joshua Pointer, Private Company E, 30th Alabama Infantry Regiment,CSA. The DeKalb County Chapter #1465, United Daughters of the Confederacy, will be present in period dress. The DeKalb Rifles, Sons of Confederate Veterans, will perform the military dedication with rifle salutes, songs of the Confederacy, reading of military records and will present the Confederate Flag to the family.
