Surnames: Stapleton, Hill, Batts
A cousin sent the following to me tonight:

Miscelaneous Alabama Newspaper Abstracts Volume I compiled by: Michael Eksey, Nancy Graff Floyd and Ginny Guinn Parsons:

12/2/1837
LOOK OUT FOR MURREL MEN: Whereas Nathan Batts a notorious rascal, formerly of Houston County Georgia and lately of Dale County Alabama, did from some time in May last until October, harbor a negro man belonging to the undersigned....It is supposed he will go to Lee County, Geogia, as he has a brother living near Starkville, in that county. He was assisted In harboring the boy by John Stapleton, Seaborn Stapleton, Zenothan Stapleton, and Zeno Stapleton, four brothers, all living in Dale County Alabama who have also escaped from justice. DESCRIPTION: The Stapletons, are all fiddlers, John is about 5' '7" dark complexion; Seaborn Stapleton, 5'10" dark complexion; Zenothen, 5' 9", dark complexion: Zeno 5' 6" fair complexion: Nathan Batts about 5' '7" dark complexion, very talkative, laughs very loud and has a very bad countenance. Samuel M. Hill

Found the article very interesting, but was puzzled as in the research I've done, I've seen John, Seaborn & Zeno, but no Zenothan.

Can anyone help with this?
