Looking through the 1840 Baldwin County Census. There are 16 images and the few I've looked at appear to be written in alphabetical order.

It shows 3 Stapletons: Job, Maurice & Solomon.

Maurice shows between 30 and 40; Solomon shows between 30 and 40 with 2 other males in his house the same age. Both Maurice & Solomon are married & have children in their homes.

Job Stapleton shows between 50& 60.
In his house are:
1 male under 10
1 male 5 and under 10
1 male 15 and under 20
1 female 5 and under 10
2 females 15 and under 20
1 female 30 and under 40 (his wife?)

I've found Seaborn, Job, John & Lodowick Stapleton in the 1840 Dale Co, AL census. They appear to be brothers (or at least cousins) by their ages. All are on the same page.

Can anyone tell me what the relationship is between Job, Maurice & Solomon?

Am trying to sort out the Stapletons of Baldwin Co because my husband's GGGgrandmother, Nancy Ann Stapleton b 1809 SC, married 12 Feb 1824 in Baldwin Co. I'm certain she's related to this group, but don't know how.
