I am a descendant of the William Riley (wife Sarah) family who were living in Wayne Co., Mississippi in 1850 but moved to Dale Co., AL sometime after 1850 as they show up on the 1860 Dale Co. US Census in Dale Co. On the 1860 census the only children left in the household was William & wife Sarah and John age 11 and Robert, married age 22 with his wife Louisa age 24. This family lived in AL before they show up on the Wayne. Co., 1850 Census, as all the children with the exception of the youngest, John were born in AL. He was born while they were in MS. I am searching for son Edmund Riley born about 1836.
