Thank you so much for that information. I was wondering about the location of the church since it did mention that it was later reubilt in the town of Florala and that the original church was built on the state line where the Greenwood cemetery now lies.

Wilson J. Kierce actually lived at Natural Bridge in Walton County, Florida not far from the state line.

Have you been to that cemetery? Is it easy to find? I have seen an online listing of burials there but nothing dated back that far. You saw there is an "old" section where the church used to be. Any idea if there is a list of those burials as well?

I would hate to show up and not find his grave since it is probably not marked.
