SPARKS, NEV. – Mrs. Lillie Bell Wright departed this earth on Oct. 25, 2014, in Reno, Nevada.

Mrs. Wright was born Aug. 1, 1921, in Conecuh County, Alabama to Lizzie and D.C. McKenzie and was one of 13 children.

She was preceded in death by her parents; all of her siblings; her husband, Roscoe S. Wright Sr.; and her son, Roscoe S. Wright Jr.

She is survived by her children, Ms. Kay Wright, Dr. Barbara Wright-Sanders of Nevada, Mr. Robert Wright (Wanda) of Pennsylvania, Ms. Deborah Wright of Georgia, and Ms. Sylvia Wright of Georgia and daughter-in-law, Mrs. Grace Wright of Georgia.

In addition to her children, she leaves seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mrs. Wright was a resident of Youngstown, Ohio (Mahoning County) for more than 50 years and a member of St. Patrick’s Church, before moving to Sparks in December of 2006.
A memorial service will be held at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Reno, on Nov. 15, 2014, at 11 a.m. Mrs. Wright was active in her church, her community, and in the lives of her family
. She leaves many family and friends to mourn her loss, however we share the belief that the world is a better place because she passed through it
