Obituary of Carrie Jordan

Mrs. Carrie Jordan, age 81, beloved lady of the Lyeffion community, died at her home Sunday, April 21, after a long illness.

Funeral services were held at Witherington Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Monday, conducted by Rev. Moody. Cope Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by four sons, Henry, Bay Minette, Jack, Atmore, Claude, Sims, Walt, Evergreen; five daughters, Mrs. Annie House, Mrs. Lorene House and Mrs. Hattie House, all of Evergreen, Mrs. Ola Tatum, Frisco City, Mrs. Eva Stringer, Evergreen; one brother, Henry Jorday (should read Jordan), Evergreen; one sister, Mrs. Hattie Hamrac, Evergreen.
