White Hawthorne was born between 1866 and 1870 in alabama, most likely in wilcox or conecuh counties. his mother, i believe was a slave of the hawthorne family from those areas. his father is currently unknkown. later in his life he became a large landowner in the owassa evergreen areas and married his first wife, alice (reed?) and had 13 children with her. Those children were a first unknown child then a dau, nettie, a son hollie(my ancestor), another son leslie, douglas, samuel,toney a., cidy, silvester, draper ben and a dau tessie. later alice died and he remarried to queen, eventually having 13 by her. only one (jessie) lives today.if you have a connection to any of these people or are just wondering more please contact me at 916-534-5449 or my e-mail at trappschabala@hotmail.com
