Buried in the family plot at Evergreen Cemetery, Cope Funeral Home directing.
Widow of the late Thomas Jackson, was a member of a pioneer and prominent county family. Her father was one of the county’s largest and most successful planters and businessmen. She was a devoted member of the Evergreen Baptist Church where she taught several generations of children in the Primary Dept. of the Sunday School. A lady of high character and virtue, Mrs. Jackson enjoyed the love, respect and esteem of her family and many friends.
Survivors include two brothers: Robert Ernest Lee, Evergreen, and Alfred Mudge Lee, Plant City, FL; one sister, Mrs. Lois Hendricks, Evergreen, and a number of nieces and nephews.
