On the 1860 census of Nathansville, Conecuh, Al the names of James Nelson, Martha Nelson and Francis (Frances) A. Nelson, were listed in the household of Lewis Havard. I do not know the relationship of Havard with the Nelsons, but after that year, there was no furthur record of them. Is it possible they were in the Short Orphanage and Home? I would appreciate any effort you can give me to find if this is so. Thanking you very kindly.
