I am currently writing the history of the 13th Alabama Infantry Regiment CSA which included men from what is now Clay County. Any descendants of these men or others with information on this unit that they are willing to share, please respond. (I am not trying to sell anyone a book, just gathering information.)

Hello, My great grandfather, Joseph Andrew Carter was a member of the 13th Regiment. I have his application for a pension that he applied for in 1914. I would like to know any information that you have about him or the 13th Reg. Thanks Douglas Carter Jenkins
