I am trying to locate information on John Everett who died in Clarke County Alabama in about 1836. He was an older man at that time - supposedly a soldier in the Revolutionary Army. I do not see him on the 1830 census; the John Everett listed in Clarke is a younger man.

Does anyone have access to early records of Clarke that would show when he settled there?
