Did you ever hear about Annie or Emily or that family having Choctaw in them? John Carney was from a long line of Choctaws, so it would make sense. There are some Pearsons but a lot of Carneys on the Choctaw rolls. I found an Annie Pearson age 1 on the rolls that said she didn't live on the reservation, but I was told that was a different Annie Pearson, the dates were off or something for it to have been my Annie. But Aunt Ada told me they were part Choctaw and Mother said from when she remembers seeing Annie "She was Indian".
