Would appreciate any information on anyone related to the
family of Tom Parr, born in Alabama, and married to Sarah L.
Westbrook, born in Alabama about 1859. Their children were
Claudia Parr, born 1883 in Alabama, who was married to an
Arrington. Daniel Cleveland Parr, born 1885 in Spring Garden, Cherokee County, Alabama. Robert Parr, born about
1898 in Alabama. Roy Parr, born about 1901 in Alabama. Also there was another daughter who was married to a Bill
Cook and lived in Newnan, Coweta, Georgia. Some of these
people were living in LaGrange, Troup Co., Georgia in 1920.

In my Cherokee Co history, page 301, under Swan-Hood-Westbrook, I found Elizabeth Hood (died 1910) who married Sebastian Rufus "S.R." Westbrook (private in co E, 47th Infantry, CSA killed in Battle of Atlanta in 1864) had children Sarah Louisa, Joseph Daniel, and William Rufus who lived near Frog Creek in Spring Garden.

"Sarah Westbrook married Thomas White Parr 1879, lived in LaGrange, Ga, and worked in a textile factory. Their children were: Eddie ,Idah, Claudia, Daniel, Bell, Anna, Elizabeth Francis, John Alonzo, Alma nora, Robert Clifford, and Lee Roy. Sarah died 1935 and is buried in Shadow Lawn Cemetery in LaGrange."
