Help!!!!!

I am descended from George Clifton, born 1761. He lived in Cherokee County with his wife, Milly Brown Clifton. He died 1840 in Georgia. He fought with Delaware in the Revolutionary War. I think I have pretty good info on his descendants but can not find anything factual abt his parents or birthplace.

I find where several have traced his parents as Levin Clifton and Lydia.

I would appreciate any factual info anyone could share supporting this connection and will of course share what I have if you would like. I'm just trying to find any support for the Levin connection.
