I'll be GA in a few weeks and one day I plan to spend researching info in Cherokee County, AL, and I need to know where the best place is to find info....my time line is 1878-1898. I'm really interested in any old newspapers that might be on microfilm....I'm researching the surname Mathis/Mathews....any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
