To my great surprise, I have been doing some updates on our Hunsucker family out of the line of Susannah Hunsucker who married William Drum, dtr of Johann Theobold Hunsucker and Susannah Neff. Their daughter Anna Drum b 28 FEb 1799 married Elisha Bridges. Their son James Sidney Bridges married an Amanda and had Elenor V Cordelia Bridges b Dec 1858. Cordelia married Hartwell Jacob Aderboldt and had Bessie Ruth Aderholdt 21 Oct 1899. Bessie married Ernest Howard Hunsucker 1921 Catawba Co NC. This makes Bessie and Ernest 2nd cousins 2x removed.

According to a letter in the Hunsucker book written by James Sidney Bridges his mother was Ann Drum daughter of William Drum and Susannah Hunsucker. Ann was the daughter who didn't go to Missouri according to Sidney's story. Ann didn't die until after 1880 in Catawba Co North Carolina as she is living with son Hosea Bridges

I also have been able to track Anna Drum and Elisha Bridges daughter Matilda. She married also an Elisha Bridges but his middle initial was L. I don't think she is the mother of all of Elisha L Bridges children as Elisha's marriage record in 1835 doesn't name a wife, so I'm not exactly certain when she married him. But I have found them down in Alabama. Her full name is Sarah Matilda Bridges and she was born abt Aug 1823.

I descend through John Hunsucker Sr b 1782 who 1st married whom I believe to be Barbara Smith/Schmidt and John's second wife was Polly Sigman. I'm from the first marriage through Sarah Hunsucker who married Henry Bolch/Bolick. So I was just working on some updates and tracing some of the Bridges family when I discovered this Aderholdt stuff. In the Hunsucker book there is a letter from the Drum's of Cape Gireardeau Co Missouri to Mrs. J H Adderholdt in Catawba Co, so I started tracking the Aderholdt's when I discovered this!!!
