I noticed your last name is Dees. Are you from Alabama? If so, I am searching for any ancestors of a Nancy Dees that married a William Tassy Boutwell, either in Al or La. In the 1840, Washington Parish, La. census, it shows his brother, a female of the age of Nancy, his brother, and either their mother, or Nancy's mother. Nancy was born abt. 1811 in Al. Do you have any Dees family history that goes back that far?
