Wishing to connect with anyone doing research on the RILEY family of Butler Co. in early 1800's. I have a Stephen B. RILEY who was supposed to have been born in Alabama in about 1818-1820. There was a S. B. RILEY in Butler Co. in 1840; could this be my Stephen B.? Or was this S. B. RILEY in Butler Co. in 1840 a totally different man? My Stephen B. appears in 1860 in Arkansas, but I can't find him in 1850. Associated names are Drucilla, Martha Ann Emmaline, Mary A. and possibly Christian RILEY. Can anyone help me determine if these two are the same?
