I have this info on Phillip. Freda

Phillip served in the War of 1812. He was a private and served in Capt. Bailey Heaerd’s Co., 6th Regiment, Mississippi Territory Militia, served from Dec 29, 1814 to 23rd of March 1815. The pay was $8.00 a month. Amount of pay received when he mustered out was $22.45 for 2 months and 25 days. He was discharged at Ft. Mongtomery, Baldwin County, Al. Betty Coleman Manning has a copy of his records.



Info about the Coleman family came from Marsha Grady.By about 1830-40, Phillip and Sarah were in Butler County, Alabama. They died sometime after 1850, as they appear in the 1850 Federal Census ages 80 and 70.
