For many years I've been researching the ancestors, unsuccessfully, of Malcolm McInnis, b: 18Nov1809, d: 18June1874, m: Charlotte Stanley b:30May1823, d: 09Feb1898. Both are buried in the Old Union Church cemetery in Bullock County. I've always felt that Malcolm was somehow related to the McInnis folks who are buried at the Pea River Church in Clio, but I have never been able to make a connection.

Charlotte Stanley's ancestors are equally elusive. I believe her parents may have been from Montgomery County. Family lore has it that when Charlotte's father died, her mother remarried to a Eubanks, moved to Barbour County and
opened a tavern in Monticello.

I would like to contact anyone who has researched either of these folks, either successfully or not.
