thomas r. doty was my gr gr grandfather,iam looking for anyone in blount county, alabama who might know anything about where he is buried and anything about his father and mother.

I searched the three volume set of Blount County Cemeteries compiled by Robert Sterling and Thomas R. Doty is not listed. Do you know the area where he was living? It is possible that he is buried in a near by County. Do you know any family members, I could look for them.

There is an article in the Blount County Heritage Book on your Thomas R. Doty b NY 1805. The article does not state where he was buried, but his fourth child David that died 1911 is buried at Nectar Cemetery. The article was submitted by Debbie Doty 3830 County Hwy 45 Hayden, Al. 35079.
