News Death Notice

BANKS, Rosie (Avery) 69, of Springfield, Ohio passed away May 28, 2014 in her residence.

She was born March 7, 1945 in Bibb County, Alabama, to the union of the late Deacon John Avery and Cliff (Joseph) Avery.
Rosie leaves to cherish her memories of a devoted and loving son Mark Anthony Banks (Dawn), 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 4 sisters, 2 brothers, and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son Joseph LeVelle Banks, her parents John and Cliff Avery; grandparents, Rev. Phil and Cora Joseph; Richard and Diana Avery; four brothers, Willie, Richard, Leroy and Charles Avery.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 6th from 9:00 -11:00 am in the Zion Hill Baptist Church with services at 11:00 am. Arrangements by the Robert. C. Henry Funeral Home.
