The Alabama Genealogical Society Fall Seminar will be held on SATURDAY, OCT. 17 in Montgomery, Ala., at the Alabama Department of Archives and History. Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. J. Mark Lowe, professional genealogist, lecturer, researcher and author, will speak on "CSI: COLLECTING, SELECTING AND IDENTIFYING YOUR ANCESTORS". Subtopics are: Using the Internet for Research, Land Barons or Dirt Farmers and Finding Your Landless Ancestors. The Archives will be open for research after the seminar until 4:30 p.m.
