Why is it every ancestor I have came through Barbour County, Alabama? What was there that attracted everyone from Georgia to your little corner of the world? Was the only road westward (ca1820-1880)through Eufaula? I'm searching for descendants of Thomas G. Jordan and Lovicy Chambless; John Martin White and Mary A.L. Jordan;William R. Long (CSA);Cabaniss, Callaway or King families of Barbour County; Garland, Black or David families of Barbour County. I'm sure I'll add more later. Contact me at
