I just found a link for my Anderson family here in Barbour county for the 1870 census but I have no research information on how to locate probate records, slave records etc. for this surname.

I did a census search for Anderson Slave owners for 1860 census but the names listed do not identify my family ages so it looks like it's not a match.

My grandmother is listed as having been born in Georgia but her husband was born in DC. Their children are all listed as having been born in Alabama from 1848+ so I believe from as early as 1847 they both were in Alabama which would put them both on 1850 and 1860 slave records somewhere :)

Any clues, links or direction would truly be appreciated.
