Uncle William Gordon Goodwin died in Bay Minette between February and end of summer of 1966. Remember traveling from California, and attending his funeral --he may have passed away out of area but WAS buried there--can not travel, can not find family who can remember the date, and have looked for many years. Uncle Gordon's sister Annie Mae married Dossie Murphy and moved their family to California--Dossie passed away in February--and very shortly after Annie and some of her sons had to make the trip cross country for the funeral. His wife's name was Annie Ruth, he had a sister there named Myrtle Ellie who married Joe Byrd, and then David Crane. NO one thought to write the date down. It is our understanding that he may have owned a service station in Bay Minette, and that his son David is also deceased. We are asking anyone who lives near this town, if they could please search newspapers, call cemetaries, anything, so we can finally have some closing on this dear lost Uncle of ours... Many thanks
