25 Jan., 1940 The Tribune Democrat
IN MEMORY
Of Mayola BURNS, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. B. BURNS, who was born January 12, 1940, and died January 19th, 1940. God sent little Mayola just one week to bring joy and sunshine in the home and entwine her love 'round our hearts. But God in His infinite wisdom saw fit to pluck the bright blossom from its parental stem to bloom in angelic beauty never to suffer again and while our loss is her gain, she has gained a home of celestial happiness and we commend her parents, sisters and brothers to the one who gave, and to take up their cross and march onward to meet in glory those outstretched arms awaiting to welcome them to their peaceful rest. And may the home circle broken here on earth be united in heaven, She leaves to mourn her loss two sisters and two brothers and two half-sisters. Her remains were laid to rest in the Piqua Cemetery in charge of Bratton & Insko.
