MRS. LUCY FOOKS TOOMEY DIES IN COVINGTON HOSPITAL.
Mrs. Lucy FOOKS TOOMEY, wife of Mr. Charles TOOMEY of Kentontown, died in Booth Hospital, Covington at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning following an operation performed last Saturday for gallstones.
Funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Kentontown Christian Church, conducted by Rev. BREEM, with interment following in Kentontown Cemetery in charge of Kain and Sheeler.
She was a daughter of the late Geo. And Nanny FOOKS of Kentontown and was aged about 65 years. She was first married to Dudley MILLER, who passed away. Her second husband was the late Charles BURNS, to which union three sons survive, namely George Burns and Eugene Burns oof Harrison county, and Stanley Burns of this couty. Her last husband, Mr. oomey, also survives, together with one sister, Mrs. William FRENCH, of Kentontown and two brothers, Sid Fooks of Cynthaniana, and a number of grandchildren.
Mrs. Toomey had been in ill health for some time. She was held in high esteem by many friends.
