Have been trying to find information along with my niece. They moved to Kalkaska, Michigan sometime in the 1920's. We lived in Cadillac, Michigan in the 40's and 50's. Please e-mail and we can discuss possible family ties.

Dear Brent:

I am looking for Karl Keck and his wife, Johana Grumer, and their daughter, Henrietta Keck. They emigrated to the U.S. between 1860-1864. Henrietta's DOB was 10/24/1854, and she was my ggrandmother. Hope you can help.

thanks, Kitty

Kitty,
The Keck's that I have start with Philip & Anna (Jugenheimer) Keck born 1826 and 1828 respectively and immigrated 1852. This puts Philip similar in age to your Karl. As I am connected to this line through the Jugenheimer side, I have no information on Philip's parents, or a Karl.

I am a great-great granddaughter of Anna Marie Jugenheimer and Philip Gerhart Keck. I have a book written by my aunt which details the Jugenheimer-Keck families in some depth. I would be glad to help any fellow genealogist trace our roots.. I have the Jugenheimers to 1680. The Keck family is recorded in letters with few dates, but many stories.

Marigene:

I would be happy to hear anything at all about the Kecks. I hope they are "my" Kecks. This is the first I've heard of this in years and years.

Thanks

I would love any info you might have on Hartman or Keck. Especially anything from Switzerland and/or Germany.
