Luckland Plantation is on the outskirts of Patterson, LA. Approximately 1 mile east of the Harry P Williams Memorial airport on hwy 182. On the left hand side of the road is a large farm shed. right past this also on the left is an old wood frame house which was built to replace the old plantation home that burnt down which was behind the old oak trees behind this house and to the left. The property was later acquired by Mr Duhe of New Iberia and named Luckland Farm. The reason I know all this is because My father & Mr Duhe were partners and I was born and raised there. I used to play on the old brick foundation for the chimney of the old plantation home.
