I am trying to find out information about Pickens Staley. He was a Mulatto Slave? born around 1860 in Aiken, SC. South Carolina had no Slave owners named Staley. I am trying to trace the family Linage Back as far as possible and am stuck on Pickens. I don't even have a possible name for his mother any information could help.
