In 1870 there is a Francis Rucker, female, mulatto, in Shelbyville Ky, she is at school; she is living in the home of Anderson Burwell, black, farm laborer, and his family.
In 1870 there a number of black persons named Rucker, maintaining separate households in Shelby Cty. Most in Simpsonville Pct or Harrisonville Pct, but none I could find named Jane or Anderson.
In 1870, there were a James and Phoeby Dorsey, black, farm laborers, in Shelby Cty in Clay Village, living on the farm of a George and Susan Smith.
