hi i'm trying to find my great aunt Margery McFadden .she was born in Donegal Ireland to Michael and Anne m/s Murray on 20th may 1876 .I think I have her on a ship into New York on 4th oct 1898 .ship's manifest states she is going to an aunt G McFadden 31 Kimball (?) st Philadelphia .after that she disappears ,I've tried census ,marriages deaths but no joy ,does anyone have any ideas where else I can look ? thankyou ,angela

have u persued the aunt? perhaps she mentioned her niece in an obit, or newspaper article re a party, or a will, or ? how abt any obits of deceased family in ireland/ no mention?

The address is actually 2031 Kimball St. in Philadelphia. Unfortunately, no McFadden there in the 1900 census.

Also, in the 1898 Philadelphia city directory, there are 3 full columns of McFadden. Unfortunately, there is no indication of the wife of the household head named, nor any female beginning with "G"

From 1897 to 1903 a family named Boy(I)ce lived at that address.

Maybe she went back home? Found this in the UK incoming passengers database:

NAME: Mrgy McFadden
BIRTH: abt 1877
DEPARTURE: New York, New York, United States
ARRIVAL: 13 May 1900 - Londonderry, Northern Ireland
