Our family comes from Villa de Cos, San Cosme Church and are related to other surnames. I am presently abtracting the church marriage records from 1860s to 1920s and have abstracted Castillo and del Castillo birth, death & marriage records by both civil & church records from 1700s and to the 1920s.

Another town near Tenago is Tlaltenango de Sanchez Roman. My great grandparents Otilano Herrera and Ysidra Yniguez both were born there around 1870's. They had 4 children Jose,Manuel,Jessie and Norberta probably born around 1900-1910.

I have searched my data base and I did not find Otilano or Ysidra Yniguez. I have Herreras with the first name of Jose and Manuel but I could not make a connection to Otilano. I looked Tlaltenago de Sanchez Roman and it is not near Villa de Cos. Tlaltenago is at the southern tip of Zacatecas. I looked the town in the Family History Catalog and it is a municipal seat. The Family History Library has microfilm on Baptismals from 1630 through 1961, Church marriages from 1926 through 1961, Church burials from 1686 through 1956, Civil births from 1867 through 1950, Civil marriages from 1867 through 1914, Civil death records from 1867 through 1914 and census records. Visit you local Family History Library, Mormon Church or visit their website. Lots of luck.

My G-G Grandfather Juan Solis married Luz Cortes in Sombrerete, Zacatecas in 1892. They had Emeteria Solis, Mariana Solis (G-Grandmother), Mariano, Seferina and I believe two other children all born between 1894 and early 1900's in Sombrerete. I know that Juan Solis had at least two brothers and at least one sister, but at the moment I don't have that information on hand. If you would like that info feel free to e-mail me at psal001@aol.com later in the evening.

Hi

I see that you are researching the above member of your family. Yedona and Manuel Quiros were also the great great grandparents of my husband, Christopher Conroy. I am now researching his family tree and hope that we may exchange information.
My husband's father was Reginald Conroy, his father was Edward Francis Conroy B1876. He was in the army at the Rock of Gibraltar, met and fell in love with a local girl from Larlinia called Estrude Gertrudis Gonzalez Quiros, who was your great grandmother.I believe her family moved from Casares near Malaga, Spain.
I think that Estrude had siblings called Manuel, Hose, Wanita, and two others. Her parents were Manuel Quiros and Ydednona.
I would love to know what relation you are to my husband, Christopher Conroy.

I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards

Christine Conroy
