Hello Kathleen,

No, sorry, I never got the passenger's list, it's quite disappointing, I'm looking for an ancestor who was an architect arrived with Maximilian the emperor. I continue looking and will keep you posted.

Claudia

Looking for information on de la Huerta family. Specifically, Alfonso & Adolfo de la Huerta during time of Mexican Revolution, in Sinaloa. Can you possibly share any info? I notice that there are many Huertas but not a lot of de la Huertas. Am just beginning my search. Thanks, Carmen

Carmen, Adolfo de la Huerta Marcor was my grandfather's cousin, I know very little about him but I know that some of his descendants still live in Guaymas, Sonora

Thanks for responding. Am actually trying to find ANY INFO on Alfonso (bro of Adolfo) of Guaymas. Might you know any parents names? Any dates? Locations? Do you know your grandfather's grandparents names? Is your line from Guaymas? Thanks, Carmen

Carmen,

Unfortunately I don't know my grandfather's grandparent's names, I know their parents names, they were Francisco de la Huerta and Delfina Castro. Adolfo de la Huerta's father was a brother of Francisco de la Huerta, Adolfo's brothers and sisters were Emilio, Carmela, Maria, Josefina (I ignored that there was an Alfonso). Adolfo had two sons, Adolfo and Arturo and their descendents live (i think) in Mexico City. My line comes from Hermosillo, Sonora.
