You are related to Jacoba Villa and Manuel F Mattos -Jacoba is my maternal grgrgrandmother thru their son Joseph Francisco Mattos (1888-1949). I have been so confused with all the different names floating around for her. Was Jacoba also known as Maria Del Carmen? I have her mother Hilaria Narvaez as Domingo Villa's first wife. Hilaria Narvaez Villa died of small pox in 1868 along with 2 of their 3 daughters. Domingo then married Carolina to help raise Jacoba. Domingo and Carolina had 4 other daughters together (Susana, Guadalupe, Josephine and Pelar).
Any information you can give me to help add to my family history would be greatly appreciated.
