John (Juan) Desmond who lived in Mazatlan in the late 1800's, born about 1841, died Dec 7, 1908 in Mazatlan. He was married to Soledad Aguirre. He was from Boston, and his father was John Desmond.

Also Fortunato Zatarain, married to Herculana Tirado. They had four children, Victoria (born 1878), Felix, Refugio (born 1885), and Mercedes. They lived in El Verde, near Mazatlan. Fortunato was orphaned as a child. I believe his parents were Modesto Zatarain (father), and Cleofas Beltran (mother). Fortunato was christened in San Antonio de La Moria, Mazatlan, Sinaloa.
