Martin de Turrubiartes founded the town of Cerritos, San Luis Potosi in about 1640. Turrubiartes is a common name in Cerritos. There is a book about the history of Cerritos called "Cerritos en me Recuerdo" by Jose Alfredo Villegas Galvan published in 1999. It's in Spanish. Good luck in your search.
