Surnames: Sánchez, Sanchez, Sanches, Gonzalez, Gonsales, Gonzales
My name is Laura and I am looking for information on my Sanchez ancestors. The son of Anastacio Sánchez and Maria Benigna Gonzalez that is my ancestor is José Raymundo Sanchez Gonzalez born 1861 died 1921. I think he was the first founder of the Funerarias Raymundo Sánchez in Nuevo León. He is also referred to as Reymundo, or Romualdo, but since later sons and grandsons were named Raymundo I am thinking that is the correct one. I do not have any dates or second last names on Anastasio Sánchez nor Maria Benigna Gonzalez. I am very interested to find out where my Sánchez ancestors came from.

José Raymundo Sánchez Gonzalez, their son, married María Maximina Gonzalez Leal b.1860. Thanks for the help, have a lovely day.

Hi Laura
Have you tried searching at "Familysearch.org", they have a very extensive collection of records from Mexico and it is free.

Also this mexican records site will be of great use if you have some dates on your ancestors. You can start with your parents or grand parents then you can verify the spelling of their parents etc. Good luck

Thank you very much for sharing. I do use Family Search, but have not had any luck finding more about these ancestors. That is why I posted here. The trail ends with these two names and no dates in FamilySearch. I will try that other link you shared.

Once again, thank you, and have a lovely weekend.
Cheers!
