Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Monday, March 1, 2010 at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery.

Mr. Florez was born in Monte Morelos Nuevo Leon, Mexico to the late Pedro and Hermelinda Florez Alvarez

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Lozano Alvarez, of the home; daughters, Rocio Alvarez, Esmeralda Alvarez, Aracely Arizola, Anahi Montero, Griselda Alvarez, grandchildren; Julius D. Alvarez, Maria E. Milan, Elida Alvarez, Elizabeth Alvarez, Juanito Alvarez, Mykayla Arizola, Maribell Arizola, Sofia Montero , Benjamin Montero, brother, Leopoldo Alvarez and sister, Irene Alvarez.

The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home one prior to the service and other times at the residence
