Marco se caso con Balbina Cervantes en 1883 y tuvieron por lo menos cuatro hijos; Francisco, Enriqueta, Maria Trinidad y Dimitria. Marco Sandoval seria mi tatarabuelo y Francisco mi bisabuelo.

No research yet on the Orosco side. Our uncle Vicente Orosco lives in Pomona, California and he is the only that have survived all the old aunts and uncles. We had a SAint Patrick's Day family reunion last week in Gudadalajra. About 200 family memebers gather. I was also there. Elvia O'Connor, Myself and Kathy Doyle have done all the research and we can trace Jeremiah O'Connor our GGG Grandfather back to 1820 when he was born. You can reach me at:

For many years I have been doing genealogical research for my wife, Ramira Romero, who was born near Acaponeta. She is descended from the same Orozco family where Concepcion Orozco, mother of Guillermo O'Connor, married Juan O'Connor. Concepcion's parents were Dionisio Orozco and Apolonia Moreno. Have you done research on this branch?

Según a mi papá y un tío, la familia parte de mi papá viene de Portugal eventualmente. He tenido la suerte de encontrar la quinta generación de la familia Díaz. Pero me paré con Eusebio Díaz porque no he podido encontrar ningún documento de él. Según unos actas de bautismos de sus hijos, el se casó con una tal María Francisca Partida. Y en todos los actas de bautismos de sus hijos, allí sale que todos son niños españoles (todos los hijos fueron nacidos en acaponeta,Nayarit en los tempranos años 1800s). Si los hijos son españoles, quiere decir que sus papas fueron nacidos en España/Portugal? Por favor ayúdenme.

Ahora, he leído algo que ciertos documentos de España y por esa región que no son disponibles al publico...y que nadamas a genealogistas. ¿ Es Cierto ?

Yes, my name is Jennifer. I am 38 years old and live in Los Angeles. My mom's name is Ana Maria and she is the youngest of her siblings. You might have met her brother, Juan Jose who I believe visited his/your dad many years ago.

I made contact with Magdalena's daughter Denise recently which was so wonderful because she was able to update me on her branch of the family and let me know that all the first 8 siblings are still alive except for her mom, Magdalena. I was so interested to learn about the youngest 4 girls who ended up in Arizona so young. It was very nice to connect with that side of the family!

Please let me know about yourself. What's your name and age? Where do you live? What are your siblings names? 14?! Wow, growing up in such a big group of kids must have been an adventure! I believe it's so important to know about our family tree, even just for medical history reasons. I know our families share a somewhat painful past but I think it's important to move forward. I really appreciate any information you can share.

Yes, my abuela, Julia Villa, was your mom's half-sister. Your mother is a twin, her brother being my great-uncle Jesus Aguiar. My mother was 1 of 3 children Julia had with your father while they were married.

How wonderful to have found you! I recently found part of Jose Isabel Escobedo's first family of 8 children, which has been great, since our family knew very little of what had happened to them. I've wanted to know more about your family, as well, especially since, like you mentioned, it is so big. :)

If you feel comfortable, I would love to share family information. I can share whatever information I have been able to gather, a lot of which is already on my family tree. Let me know if you have any questions.

I don't have any information on Nazario apart from the 1930 Mexico census where Maria Obdulia and Francesca were living with him. You can get a lot of information about Antonia Covarrubias on the LDS site. I am related by marriage to Maria Obdulia who died in 1993.
I would appreciate any information you may have on Antonia's life in Santa Cruz, Sonora and what happened to her - she is my children's great grandmother too!

Up to this date, the Miramontes who live in the town of ixtlan are still a part of my family... First of all, my name is Carlos O'Connor, I was born and raise in San Diego, CA, but I too come from the same O'Connor family from Nayarit. My grandfather, Carlos O'Connor Encarnacion was born in a small town in Nayarit, not sure of the name. He migrated to Tijuana with his family, I think in the late 50's. Just this year there was a reunion on St Patricks day in Nayarit of this family. I would like to find out more information and any relatives. I recall my grandfather telling me about Buenaventura and I know his father was Patricio O'Connor. Any information will be appreciated. Thanks!

Me encuentro en la misma situación, ya que busco a mi madre biológica, María Elena Carlos Prado (La Santos), ella nació en Ixtlán del Río, Nayarit, sus papás, mis abuelos, son Coras, o eran, se vino al DF con mi padre y luego nadie supo nada, la he estado buscando, sin encontrarla todavía...
A lo que iba, ojalá te sirva la recomendación, me he metido a varios blogs, foros que tengan que ver con Ixtlán del Río, con Nayarit, y en los lugares donde puedes poner anuncio gratis para vender, regularmente hay una sección donde puedes pedir informes, no sé si ya utilizaste estos medios, es mi recomendación.

I am in the same situation as I search for my biological mother, Maria Elena Carlos Prado (La Santos), she was born in Ixtlan del Rio, Nayarit, their parents, my grandparents are Cora, or were, came to Mexico City with my father and then no one knew anything, I've been looking for, without finding yet ...
As I was saying, I hope you serve the recommendation, I've got several blogs, forums that deal with Ixtlan del Rio, Nayarit, and in places where you can list your property for sale, regularly has a section where you can order reports do not know if they use these means, it is my recommendation.

My name is Wendy Romero, I am looking for any information about Lucas Romero Valdez who is my grandfather and was born on October 18,1920 in San Felipe Nayarit, but passed away in about 1959 after having surgery in a Mexico City General Hospital. My father(Jose Guadalupe Romero Cedano) and grandmother(Francisca Cedano Lara) received a letter from a nurse from the hospital, informing them that my grandfather did not make it after the surgery but the letter was received three months after he had died. My father was 11-years-old when his father passed away, and they never knew where their father was buried because they were too poor to travel to Mexico City. I will appreciate if anyone has any information
