DEAR MRS. QUINONES, IT IS A GREAT PLEASURE TO FINALLY HAVE A PERSON WITH MY LAST NAME. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT MEANS AND WHERE IT COMES FROM, I HAVE ARDENTLY LOOKED INFORMATION FOR IT EVERYWHERE AND STILL NOTHING. IF YOU COULD SHADE SOME LIGHT ON THIS MATTER IT WOULD BE GREAT. I DO KNOW THAT MY DAD WAS BORN IN SAN FELIPE, NAYARIT(MUNICIPIO:TECUALA) AND ALL HIS PARENTS ARE FROM THERE. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME

I am interested in your Parra lineage to see if we have a link. Here's mine: Parra, Quirino b. in Mexico abt. 1867 and d. at prison in cuidad de Juarez, Mexico abt. 1914?. Parra, Sylvestra Maldonado b. 1886 in Mexico abt. 1886 and d. in Santa Ana, CA in 1950. They married and moved to Clifton, AZ after 1900; worked in the mines and raised their family.

I'm looking for my natural mother. All I know is her name is Sally Parra. She was born approximately 9/07/1954. She lived in East Los Angeles--near Huntington Drive/Soto when I was born--at the White Memorial in January, 1960. I believe she already had a son in 1960, and I believe she had a brother named Frank. Please respond if you know her.

I'm sorry I don't have a Sally Parra in my generation and don't know the my whole Parra genealogy. I am still searching and will keep your message on file in case I have a match for you. Please let me know if and when you do find her so that this message will be deleted. Who knows we might be related.
