Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico is a new region for me to research. I have a client whose family is from there. Her family surnames include Bahena, Mena, Caramillo, Asbedo, Castillo, and Garcia. I have tried looking through church records and have found the lack of indexing to be a bit time consuming and have not found her family. I am unsure of what other repositories or archives may be available. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction or even perhaps be searching for family with the same names? I would love to hear any tips about researching Cuernavaca.
