I was wondering if anyone had information on the Charles family from Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico? My husbands ggrandfather is Francisco Charles (b 1803) and his father Francisco Charles were from Cuernavaca. Does anyone know where this surname comes from in the area or have relations with the names Charles from Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico?
