I am looking for information about my paternal grandmother, Mildred Furlonge, born around born around 1896. She married Errol Williams who may have been from Trinidad also. They had three children born in the US: Rita, Errol, and Richard. Alfred was born in Trinidad. I can't seem to find any info to Mildred or her husband Errol.

Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Looks like your paternal grandmother was sisters with my paternal grandmother. I found Documents connecting them from the passenger manifest of SS Vestris. This is the ship that brought my grandparents over to America from Trinidad in May of 1923. According to the Manifest May and Audrey (my grandmother) were sisters with Mildred Furlonge. Mildred was listed as my grandmothers closest relative in the US at her time of arrival. I will attach the passenger manifest to this message. I don't know for sure but I think we are cousins.

Yes, I have this manifest on my family tree also. Not much is known about the Furlonges because my grandmother, Mildred, died while her kids were still young and they were sent to live with their father's side of the family. There is only one remaining, my uncle Cyril Richard Williams. I would love to learn more about the Furlonge side of the family.

Thank you so much for responding!

I have not seen this one before. This ship's manifest of May 1923 show that Mildred was already living in NYC. The other manifest shows that Mildred arrived in NYC in September 1923, four months later. It's hard to read clearly the year on the manifest your grandparents came (mystery). We're you able to confirm the date with Ellis Island records? I would love to learn more.
