My mother's side of my family all came from Candela Coahuila. My Great Grandfather Manuel Menchaca was born 09 Jul 1871 in Candela. He married Juana Salinas born 08 May 1880 in Candela. Another Great Grandfather from Candela, Coahuila was Alfredo Jimenez. He died about 1915 in Candela. He was married to Santos Rodriguez. Does anyone out there have any Menchaca or Jimenez connections from Candela?

Hola Belinda!!!
I'm Salinas!! Family Salinas came from Candela, Coahuila.
my grandpa Rafael Salinas was born in Juarez, Coahuila.
My grandpa's great-grandfathers were from Candela, Coahuila.
They were Gervacio Salinas and Maria de Jesus Garza, they had 3 sons and a daughter (so far, I've only found them) they were: Rómulo Salinas, Gervasio Salinas Jr, Juan Salinas and Patrocinia Salinas.
Juana Salinas who married Manuel Menchaca is Rómulo Salinas daughter! He also had another son Leonardo Salinas, :D

HI Gladys.
I'm building my tree family and Gerbasio Salinas was my grandmother's grandfather. For the information I got there were 3 brothers (Alejandro, Gervasio and Adrian), Adrian married with Maria Guajardo de Tijerina and they had 6 children (Guadalupe, Josefina, Adrian, Zenaida, Amelia and Enedina (AKA Anidelia), this last one was my grandmother).
I would like to know if you have any information about Gerbasio Salinas parents, grandparents or siblings

Hi!
Yep, Me, too. I have them in 2 branches (that later merge together again) Romulo's son Leonardo & Patrocina and her husband Juan Vasquez. Is that your picture of Juana Salinas? Great picture! I would love to trade pictures with you. Email me at deanna.limon@yahoo.com.
And just curious- was Rodriguez Santos' maiden name or a married name from a first husband?

Hi! I am related through Gervacio's son Romulo.
Do you mean that the three brothers (Alejandro, Gervasio & Adrian) are the son of Gervasio (and Maria dJes Garza)? Or do you mean that Gervasio married to MDJ Garza had 2 brothers Alejandro & Adrian??
