Wendy, I was not able to attend the reunion either. However, Mr. Harry Crosby who wrote the book "Last of the Californios" and uncovered some early facts about Thomas Smith and Maria Meza is in the process of writing a new book and it covers more about the Smith-Meza family. We met last February here in San Diego and had 32 members of the Smith family who participated.
